Adam is a journalist, photographer and classical musician, not necessarily in that order. Born and raised in Kentucky, community journalism and long-term projects is where his heart lies. Adam has had photo internships at The Buffalo News and the Lexington Herald-Leader. He has worked for the University of Kentucky’s student publications, The Kentucky Kernel and The Kentuckian. He recently transferred to Western Kentucky University to expand his photojournalism education.
To change things up for the summer, Adam decided to collaborate with his friend and fellow photojournalist, Sarah Gerace to form The Dreamer Project and cycle around the country to document the people they met.
Currently, he is in Western’s lighting class and learning like crazy. Outside of the classroom, Adam participates as an officer of WKU’s NPPA chapter, shoots as a staff photographer for the school yearbook, and works on a few personal projects.
